In Nemesis, after the wedding of Will Riker and Deanna Troi, the Enterprise picks up strange energy readings that seem to be identical to those of Data, the ship's android crew member. As the crew draws closer to the readings, a message calls Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his crew to the nearby planet Romulus to negotiate a long-awaited peace treaty with the Romulans.
However, once Picard and his crew are inside Romulan space, the truth soon becomes much more threatening. Shinzon, the new Romulan leader, is intent on destroying the United Federation of Planets and planet Earth - and he has a secret link to Picard that could jeopardize the mission and the future of Earth.

Nothing in the previous six years of adventures for the Starship Voyager has prepared Captain Kathryn Janeway and her crew for the excitement and peril they face in the final and amazing STAR TREK: VOYAGER SEASON 7.

Starring PATRICK STEWART as Captain Jean Luc Picard, this terrific sci-fi movie sees retired Starfleet officers James T. Leonard Nimoy was originally set to reprise the role of Spock during the scenes on the Enterprise-B. However, because he declined the role, the part was changed to James Doohan's character of Scotty, but the lines remained more or less the same; this explains the odd use of Scotty calling Kirk "Jim", something that only Spock or Dr. McCoy would ever have previously called him.
Years later, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of Enterprise-D rescue a physicist named Soran (Malcolm McDowell). Unbeknownst to Picard, Soran is a megalomaniac renegade who harbours a deadly plan that includes the end of millions of lives. Now Picard's only hope for a future rests within the energy ribbon, and a legendary captain from the past.

James T. Kirk's final two words, "Oh, my..." are a spontaneous ad lib made by William Shatner, who later explained it was Kirk's reaction to eternity and truly going where Kirk had never gone before.

Her introduction and the increased use of explosive special effect sequences is credited with saving the series as they resulted in a massive revival in ratings.

First aired in America in 1966, Star Trek was groundbreaking in its use of special effects and plot lines. Following the exploits of Captain James T. Kirk, played by the eponymous WILLIAM SHATNER and his crew of around 430 on board the Starship Enterprise, they battled aliens, megalomaniacal computers, time paradoxes, psychotic murderers and even Genghis Khan! However, contrary to popular belief, Captain Kirk never uttered the line "Beam me up, Scotty". The series gripped a nation offering everything for the science fiction enthusiast and cult follower alike and has since spawned the largest number of spin-off productions, including ten feature film movies and the numerous TV series, as well as adding new phrases into the language.
"To boldly go where no man has gone before" was the captain's mantra and each episode does just that. Delivering an array of fantastic creatures and characters, superb plots, and genuine often extremely humorous interactions between the crew of the Enterprise, the series follows Kirk and his crew as they explore the boundaries of deep space.
Season One highlights include, 'Where no Man has Gone Before' in which Capt. Kirk is forced to do battle with his close friend lieutenant Mitchell, who threatens to take over the galaxy, 'The Conscience of the King' where Kirk suspects the head of a theatre troupe to be a notorious mass murderer on the run and the two-part 'The Menagerie', in which Spock faces a court marshal after hijacking the Enterprise in a bid to return a dying former Starfleet captain to a forbidden planet. Also look out for a young Joan Collins in "The City on the Edge of Forever".
